Our diagnostic laboratory is highly specialized in fast diagnostics of infectious diseases and works with the most well-known Croatian private hospitals. In addition to our main laboratory in Kastela, we have started the COVID-19 collection point in the old town of Zadar.

INSTITUT VIRION has certified PCR, antibody, and antigen test diagnostics for SARS-CoV-2 (cause of COVID-19). As a healthcare facility, we are approved by the Croatian Ministry of Health, and we implement high standards of work quality and reporting of the test results. Our diagnostic is medically driven by a physician.

COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2) ANTIGEN TESTS

ESPLINE® SARS-CoV-2 (CE / IVD) FUJIRIBIO (Japan) or CLINTEST®RAPID COVID-19 ANTIGEN TEST(CE / IVD), SIEMENS (Germany) and meets the following requirements and standards:

meets WHO criteria for SARS-CoV-2 antigen testing: ≥ 80% sensitivity
meets EU criteria for SARS-CoV-2 antigen testing: ≥ 90% sensitivity and ≥ 97% specificity, carries CE marking and is validated by a member state/s
meets criteria for Germany: listed by Paul Ehrlich Institut and positively noted
meets UK.GOV requirements for SARS-CoV-2 antigen testing: ≥97% specificity, ≥80% sensitivity at viral loads above 100,000 copies/mL
